Hello it's wonderful that you are considering a registered Basset Hound as your new friend. We have been breeding since 2011. We truly see these animals as family. Every single one. They are more than just a pet to us. We care very much were all our babies go. They are raised inside my home and will be an inside puppy at all times they are here. We begin doggy door training and paper training as soon as 4 weeks old. We give wormer at 2, 4 and 6 weeks of age. Front dew claws removed at no later than 3 days of age. All our babies are vet checked with our long time vet. Your new fur friend will go home with litter certificate, Akc registration, completed vet paperwork, and a puppy backpack that includes toy, some food, usually a blanket. We try to do different things. I have experience in animal care, restraint, nutrition and behaviors of animals. All of our puppies and mother take health supplements. We provide the best care possible for our mothers pre & post pregnancy's. All puppies are given supplements when they are started on food & continue supplements for at least 2 weeks. To ensure the best start of their nutrition. We worm puppies at 2,4 & 6 weeks of age. As we also clip nails, clean ears & give baths. We give all up to date vaccines as well with our vet. We spend a lot of time with our babies to get them socialized and learn good behaviors as they begin their journey. All our animals are taking care of and up to date always with our vet. We always get reds, lemons, tri colored & black, whites. So there are many colors to pick from.
We DNA and health test our animals. We usually have our dogs & puppies on Gentle Giants. We order it from Chewy.com .
Basset Hounds are very unique. It's so enjoyable to see each ones personalities come out. They are wonderful with kids and can become very protective with children as they grow with your child.
